Cam girls. That phrase is rapidly entering the popular lexicon. Webcamming as a field becomes more and more popular among men who are looking for an interactive porn experience. At the same time, more and more women are also learning about camming but aren’t quite sure what the job is all about and how to actually become a cam girl.
Are you interested in becoming a webcam model (or ‘camgirl’ as we’re also known)? Wondering what the job entails and whether you have what it takes to be successful? As a full time cam girl who has worked successfully in this field for the past 4 years, I’m here to explain what this job involves, including both the risks and the rewards and (hopefully) give you a better sense of what you can expect to encounter on cam and in this field.

What Happens on Cam Sites? How Do I Earn Money?
If you’ve never visited a cam site, you should probably do so now. What you’ll find is a site filled with thumbnail images, each image leading through to an individual camgirl’s chat room. If she’s in ‘free chat’ you’ll be able to enter her room and observe her interacting with visitors. If she’s in private chat you won’t be able to see her, as she’s in a paid show that only paying members are permitted to enjoy. On most cam sites cam girls make their money in private or ‘paid’ chat. The free chat room is where she interacts with her customers prior to them ‘taking her private’ for paid cam show. However, as explored below in the cam site section, on a few sites that have a slightly different ‘tipping’ culture, many cam girls earn the vast majority of their money in free chat by interacting with customers for tips.
You can find full list of cam sites at WebcamsRating. Find all the useful webcam links at CamFavs.
Here you can see how much people spend on cams. That’s how much one person spent on cam in August at the day screenshot was taken. It can be your client.
